Supreme Court of Tasmania, 1 Salamanca Pl, Hobart * On Saturday, 11 November, we encourage everyone to observe a 1-minute silence at 11 am for Remembrance Day.
Architect: Peter Partridge (1970s) Join Supreme Court judges and architect Peter Partridge on a tour of Tasmania’s highest court. Marvel at the modernist details and exquisite Tasmanian timber joinery, and explore courtrooms, underground tunnels and criminal holding cells – while the judges share insights into the judicial process. Just be careful you don’t get locked in. Open House is an annual architecture program that opens some of Tasmania’s most unique buildings to the public, including private homes and historic buildings across lutruwita Tasmania. We acknowledge that Open House takes place on the land of the traditional owners of lutruwita (Tasmania) and pay respects to the palawa people, Tasmanian Aboriginal Community and to Elders - past, present and emerging.
