Tasmanian Chapter of the Institute of Architects, 1/19a Hunter Street, Hobart, 7000 * On Saturday, 11 November, we encourage everyone to observe a 1-minute silence at 11 am for Remembrance Day.
Please join us for an exhibition and silent auction exploring the themes of place and landscape at 1/19a Hunter Street on Friday 10 November 2023, from 5.30 pm, with refreshments and light snacks provided. Exhibition works have been kindly donated by the built environment and design and arts community for a silent auction on the opening night with all proceeds going to the Hobart Women’s Shelter. Open House is an annual architecture program that opens some of Tasmania’s most unique buildings to the public, including private homes and historic buildings across lutruwita Tasmania. We acknowledge that Open House takes place on the land of the traditional owners of lutruwita (Tasmania) and pay respects to the palawa people, Tasmanian Aboriginal Community and to Elders - past, present and emerging.
