The Alumni Dialogue is a series of virtual alumni discussions that explore topics which shed light on the architectural journey beyond the university curriculum. The third event will draw 3 speakers from Unimelb's network of international alumni, who will share their experience, stories and advice regarding finding their first job, building professional networks and adjusting to the industry from university. Leo:
My name is Lei, I am a lifelong learner and inner architect, I cook the best Chinese food among all the architects I know, and I have a great passion for helping students to grow and succeed in their career and life.

Kai:
Kai Chua is a design leader capable of delivering complex projects with unique creativity. His proven track record in leading multi-faceted teams has generated successful outcomes for many large and complex projects across Australia and Asia. His diverse experience includes award-winning benchmark projects in master planning, high-density residential, mixed-use and commercial across all scales. As DKO Brisbane’s Studio Director, Kai’s leadership is characterised by an emphasis on collaboration and innovation in design across all aspects and stages of a project.

Sonia:
Sonia is a co-director at Atelier Red+Black, an award winning emerging practice in Carlton. She is a registered architect in Victoria with over 15 years of combined industry experience, which spans across international and local architectural offices. She is also Board Member with the ArchiTeam Co-operative and a sessional tutor with the University of Melbourne. She is a parent, partner, podcast tragic and has a passion for photography.
