Introducing Sustainability Snacks, a series of short online sessions that aim to demystify sustainability in practice. In just 30 minutes, we will hear from a practitioner on how they are reducing their impact. In our next Sustainability Snack, Scott Christensen, Project Architect at Green Design Architects will share a few ideas for designing cool climate buildings, along with how to steps towards sustainable practice after studying architecture. Please register to help give us an idea of numbers and share this with your friends. Come on time, tune in at lunch, and BYO snacks. Remember the presentation will be short, so don’t miss out! Green Design Architects are a Hobart based practice that specialise in residential and tourism projects with low environmental impact. Project Architect Scott Christensen has 25 years of experience in residential, education, community, and tourism buildings. He has also taught design, drawing, and sustainable design at the UTAS school of architecture and TAFE Tasmania for the last 18 years. .

This event is an initiative of The Institutes EmAGN and SONA committees. EmAGN (Emerging Architects and Graduates Network) advocates for and supports architectural professionals within 15 years of graduation. SONA (Student Organised Network for Architecture) is the student-membership body of the Australian Institute of Architects. Representatives from each of the SONA & EmAGN committees contribute to developing this program.
