Unleash your creativity with SuperStudio 2026, a national conceptual design challenge for all SONA members! This is your opportunity to design without limitations, pushing boundaries and your chance to explore unconventional design ideas beyond the scope of a typical studio project. Responding to one national brief, you'll gain invaluable mentorship, receive expert feedback, and network directly with industry professionals and leaders.
How to I Register?
It's easy! Follow the 3 simple steps below:
Team Up: Find up to three (3) SONA mates and create a memorable team name.
Sign Up: Everyone on your team needs to register individually through this event link. Don't forget to enter your team name!
Pick Your Mentor Sessions: As a team, choose one face-to-face and one virtual mentoring session. Make sure all team members register for the exact same sessions.
Once those steps are done, you're all set! There are design talks and mentoring sessions throughout the week to help guide you through. Just remember to submit your team entry using the form below before your presentations on Thursday, 30 July, 2026. Your local chapter will have details on presentation locations and venues.

FAQs
When is SuperStudio 2026?
SuperStudio 2026 will commence on Thursday, 23 July 2026 with the reading of the brief. SuperStudio 2026 runs for one week with optional activities for participants to join and partake. All participants must present their final presentations on Thursday, 30 July 2026 at the presentation day in their local state or territory. Do I have to be a SONA member to partake?
All participants need to be SONA members. If you're not one yet, no worries! You can easily become a SONA member by using the join form.
What happens after I register for the event?
You will be sent a confirmation email with details on how to access your virtual mentoring session & information on your state/territory specific information.
How do I select my mentoring session?
Participants can select up to two mentoring sessions.
- One mentoring session for Monday, 27 July 2026. This session is face-to-face. Please check Super Studio website for local venue details.
- One mentoring session for Tuesday, 28 July 2026 (virtual session via zoom). Please select your preferred sessions at the time of registering.
How many in a team, and what if I don't have a team?
Teams can be up to 3 people. All participants will need to register individually. Please choose a team name prior to registering. All teammates must submit the same team name when registering.
