International Women's Day Virtual Breakfast
Friday 5 March 2021 - 7.45 am - 9.00 am (Kick off at 8.00am)
Virtual Event via Zoom

OVERVIEW

Individually, we can all make a difference to choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequity. From challenge comes change, so we’ll be coming together at our annual International Women’s Day breakfast on Friday 5 March to #ChooseToChallenge.

Join us virtually for breakfast along with your own team to celebrate the achievements of women in architecture while choosing to challenge. This special event will be hosted by Laura Cockburn, NSW Chapter President, and feature a keynote address from Dr Noni Boyd, winner of 2020 Marion Mahony Griffin Prize. Noni will be introduced by Abbie Galvin, Government Architect NSW and 2019 Marion Mahony Griffin Prize winner. The event will also include a discussion led by a panel of eminent previous winners including Helen Lochhead, Justine Clark and Jocelyn Jackson.

Choose your Challenge! Strike the #ChooseToChallenge pose and share your 1-line commitment to challenge inequality, call out bias, question stereotypes, and address gender inequity. Tag us on Instagram @architecturensw to be reposted, or reach out to jessica.russell@architecture.com.au to be featured at the event.
