Overview

SANAA joins panel discussion on the Sydney Modern Project

The Art Gallery of New South Wales’ expansion, known as the Sydney Modern Project, will be the largest cultural development to open in our city since the Sydney Opera House almost 50 years ago.

The Art Gallery’s director Michael Brand will provide a project update and facilitate a panel discussion with SANAA, Architectus and Arup on the design and engineering innovation resulting from the unique aspects of the project. The new art museum building has delivered spaces that offer exciting new opportunities to display art, including a 1,100 sqm column-free gallery.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to hear more about the project ahead of its opening in December.
