Speaker: Nicholas Russell

Nicholas Russell
Architect at BVN

Nick is a registered architect currently practicing at BVN. He has been fortunate enough to work in both small and large practices across a variety of typologies. Nick began his career at Nielsen Jenkins during a break between my bachelors and masters. He worked at Nielsen Jenkins for the next five years, where he was exposed to a rigorous focus on tectonics and design that provided the foundation for my career. Nick then took an opportunity to work on larger projects and different typologies at Vokes and Peters. This allowed him to take on new challenges while remaining in the small practice environment he was familiar with. During this time, he was also fortunate enough to receive the Philip Y Bisset scholarship to travel and complete research. He has since moved to BVN, where he am currently working on a large workplace project in Canberra.
