On behalf of the Queensland Chapter President Amy Degenhart LFRAIA, we invite you to register for the 2023 President’s Honours Dinner. The President’s Honours Dinner celebrates the contributions by Architects to excellent professional practice through the President’s Prize. The ceremony is significant in welcoming the new Chapter president bi-annually where the outgoing President hands over the Chapter responsibilities to the new incoming President. Each year the Chapter honours the outstanding members at different stages in the lifelong learning of the profession through President’s prizes. This year, the current President Amy Degenhart will present some of Queensland’s most accomplished students by presenting the QIA medallions for the achievements of outstanding students at all the Queensland Universities, followed by the Board of Architects Queensland (BOAQ) prizes and fellowship recognition of some of the professions most experienced practitioners. The distinguished accomplishments of lifelong learning in Architecture are recognised through recognising the annual round of member elevations to life fellows and fellows of the Institute. Following the presentation event, a dinner will be hosted with current and former Chapter Presidents, Government Officials, students, academics, architects, and guests to honour their achievements.
