The course provides an introduction to fire compartmentation techniques and the importance of using passive firestopping in conjunction to active fire control measures. We look at common applications where passive firestopping is required and overview the compliance and regulation requirements of the NCC.
Hilti provides one formal CPD point following attendance to this seminar and submission of relevant course material.
This course is presented by Ben McGreevy. Ben completed his engineering studies at QUT, Brisbane in 2016 and has been with Hilti since 2021. During his time with Hilti, Ben has gained valuable knowledge of passive fire protection for the top construction projects along with a strong understanding of compliant post-installed anchor design for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades.
