2024 Brisbane Open House Practice Partnership information

9 November 2023

12 pm - 1 pm

Virtual via Zoom

Overview

Brisbane Open House is a free public festival that promotes a greater appreciation of Brisbane’s built environment and gives us the opportunity to broaden our awareness of the importance of architecture, engineering, landscape and urban design; it educates and inspires discussion and showcases outstanding new work and historic sites. The Brisbane Open House program showcases many fine examples of our members work and is an excellent vehicle for showcasing the profession to the public. The Queensland Chapter of the Institute hence offers support where possible to the Open House program, both in Brisbane and elsewhere.

Ahead of the 2024 Brisbane Open House, we are hosting a virtual information session to assist the Brisbane Open House with reaching Brisbane Practices. Brisbane Open house is looking for 10x Practice Partners to support the 2024 Brisbane Open House program. While in 2023, Brisbane Open House had not one architecture practice supporting the program with partnerships we are confident that the support for the Open House program is there.

The Queensland Chapter, in collaboration with the Planning Institute of Australia, The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, and Engineers Australia, are hosting a prospective partner meet-up for the Brisbane Open House to support their efforts for 2024. We hope that this session will offer the opportunity to ask the Brisbane open House organisers any questions you may have and see a few more of you sign up in support for this very valued program.

If your practice is interested in supporting the Open House program for 2024, please join us for a discussion with Melissa and Malcolm.

You may wish to review the 2024 Brisbane Open House partnership document ahead of attending. This document can be found here.
