With Section J requirements becoming more stringent under NCC 2019 we take a look at what this means for commercial glazing and what steps can be taken to help achieve compliance. We also look at how Low E coatings will likely be a key tool to achieve compliance, and we look at how these coatings are made and how they work. 
The Sustainability of the built environment is a hot topic to say the least. In this CPD we look at the various tools to measure the sustainability credentials of both buildings and building products (including EPDs & LCA’s), and also look at how some glass manufacturers have made significant improvements into the efficiency of their glass and the methods that may be used to improve this even further.
