Overview

 
The SA Chapter and LGA Procurement have partnered up to bring you this open forum session to initiate dialogue between architects and local councils, addressing best practice for procurement, the benefits of early engagement and Council processes and constraints. Participants are invited to bring along any questions or experiences that have arisen from working on these projects.

Light refreshments will be provided, and participants have the option of joining by Zoom if it isn't possible to attend in person.

ADAM HANNON (COX ARCHITECTURE)

As a Director of COX Architecture in Adelaide, Adam plays an important role in the concept design, design review and successful delivery of SA-based projects. Joining COX in 2002, he has significant experience in architecture and urban design, working as design lead on projects across major Australian cities and overseas. Adam was the Lead Architect for the Adelaide Oval Redevelopment, and Design Director for the award-winning Adelaide Botanic High School.

ROBYN CUSICK (LGA PROCUREMENT)

Acting CEO of LGA Procurement, Robyn is a Qualified Procurement Specialist and Trainer experienced in regional and metropolitan councils, internal audit, continuous improvement and project management. Her areas of focus are forward procurement plan lead and implementation, National Procurement Network committee, risk management, and sector supply chain.

SIMON FROST (GREENWAY ARCHITECTS)


A Director and Architect at Greenway Architects, his passion lies in successfully bringing a project to completion. His skill is in using a collective approach in delivering Public Education and civic architecture as well as all other forms of built environments. Simon sits on the Chapter Council for the Australian Institute of Architects as well as being South Australia's representative on the Institute's National Practice Committee and is an Examiner for the Architectural Practice Board of South Australia..

CHRIS WATKINS (BAUKULTUR)


A founding Director of Baukultur, established after 18 years as Principal of the HASSELL Adelaide office, Chris has worked on some of South Australia's most prolific developments.
