Overview 

Talina and Luke will share a variety of case study projects to illustrate their experience on how good architecture and Passivhaus standard work in harmony.  Useful tips and lessons will be discussed – showcasing the adaptability of benefits of the Passivhaus to improve good design outcomes.

Speakers



Talina Edwards  
Talina Edwards is a Director of Envirotecture, and is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful, functional, comfortable and sustainable architecture which combines building-science and biophilic-design. She’s a Certified Passivhaus Designer and studied for the Living Future Accreditation to deepen her pursuit to ‘care for country’ and cultivate a more regenerative future for all.



Luke Middleton 
Luke Middleton established EME Design in 2000 driven by his passion to design beautiful, healthy, efficient and inspiring architecture that aspires to establish symbiotic relationships – design, programmatic, ecological, and cultural. In 2006 he completed his first biophilic inspired, carbon positive project.
Luke’s interest in creative resilience has seen him collaborate with universities around the world on research and urban design projects.  He is a certified Passive House Designer, has a Cert 1 in Permaculture, and is currently completing his Living Building Challenge certification.

Stephanie Bullock is a director of Kosloff Architecture and sits on the Victorian Chapter Council at the Australian Institute of Architects
