Set amongst the natural beauty of Yallingup at historic Caves House, the symposium will bring together architects, planners, policymakers, government representatives and industry leaders to explore how leadership, policy and collaboration can help deliver thriving regional communities and high-quality built environments.

Running from 9:30am to 5:00pm, the program will examine some of the most pressing issues facing regional Western Australia, including housing and liveability, infrastructure, procurement, design quality, sustainability, climate responsiveness and the capacity of regional communities to shape their own futures.

Following the symposium, attendees are invited to a Gala Dinner from 6:00pm, providing an opportunity to continue conversations, strengthen professional connections and network with peers, industry leaders and decision-makers in a relaxed and memorable setting.

Keynote speakers

Lindsay & Kerry Clare
Founders, Clare Design | RAIA Gold Medal recipients, 2010



A highlight of the day will be the keynote presentation from Kerry Clare and Lindsay Clare, recipients of the Australian Institute of Architects Gold Medal. Widely regarded as two of Australia's most influential architectural voices, their body of work spans regional, metropolitan and civic projects and demonstrates an enduring commitment to design excellence, environmental performance and public architecture. Their combined experience across practice, policy and education offers unique insight into how architecture can shape communities and contribute to broader social and economic outcomes.
