Edward specialises in major, complex disputes and investigations and has extensive experience acting for corporates ranging from multinational and ASX listed companies to not-for-profits, as well as for government entities. Edward regularly advises on complex commercial disputes, contentious regulatory cases, investigations and commissions of inquiry, particularly those relating to the financial services, education and healthcare industries..

James specialises in complex commercial disputes, insolvency disputes, contentious regulatory matters and royal commissions.

James has extensive experience acting for corporations (including financial services institutions and other ASX listed corporations), and government entities and regulators. James also advises directors and officers, insolvency practitioners, and creditors in insolvency matters. Before being admitted to practice in NSW, James practiced as a barrister in South Africa, where he also specialised in complex commercial disputes, contentious regulatory matters and insolvency. James’ experience as both a solicitor and as a barrister enables him to bring a unique strategic and forensic approach to his clients’ matters.
