Architectural software platforms have varying approaches to digital 3D modelling and representing a model in 2D formats. This tension typically means that either 2D or 3D deliverables suffer. It doesn’t have to be this way.
In this session, we will explore:
· How to quickly transition from either 2D or 3D to a unified 2D/3D workflow.
· Understanding how architectural modelling differs from 3D modelling, and the principles of parametric design.
· In developing a foundational skillset, what parametric tools should you focus on?
· Applying a ‘2.5D’ workflow, to provide a gentler learning curve.
· When to go beyond these foundational tools, and what processes to use.
