Join EmAGN for a site visit to the University of Tasmania’s Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) building, designed by Preston Lane. The project delivers research laboratories and facilities that support the integration of IMAS’ research activities with its teaching programs.

Daniel Lane and Benn Turner from Preston Lane will begin the session with a brief presentation, sharing insights into the project’s design approach and key considerations encountered throughout the process. They will then lead attendees through the building, highlighting the project’s hidden technical aspects and key challenges.


Registrations are essential. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for visitor sign-in and site access requirements.
