Overview

This Office Crawl event, hosted at Wardle Studio, provides students with a valuable opportunity to engage with peers, recent graduates, and practicing architects. The event aims to offer insight into the workings of an architectural practice, deepen understanding of the profession, and support students in exploring potential career pathways while fostering meaningful industry connections. 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM – Networking and arrival, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow students, graduates and members of the profession before the evening's activities begin.

6:00 PM – 6:45 PM – Presentation by Wardle Studio, showcasing a selection of recent projects, insights into the studio's design approach, a preview of upcoming work, and an opportunity for questions and discussion with the team.
6:45 PM – 7:30 PM – Guided tour of Wardle's 477 Pitt Street studio, led by members of the Wardle team. Students will have the opportunity to explore the office, learn more about the design and delivery of the 477 Pitt Street project directly from those involved, and gain insight into the studio's culture, workflows and professional experience.

Jasmin Williamson
Partner – Sydney Director
Jasmin Williamson, Partner and Sydney Director at Wardle was instrumental in establishing Wardle’s studio in 2018 and became the practice’s first Sydney-based Partner in 2022.

Her work continues to shape the evolving commercial and civic landscape, including leadership roles on major projects such as the 477 Pitt Street Tower redevelopment within the Sydney Tech Hub, and Blacktown City Council Civic Centre project.

Her career is underpinned by a strong commitment to advancing women in the property industry through mentoring, advocacy, and active participation in professional forums. She has contributed as a Jury chair for the Public and Education category for the NSW Institute of Architects Awards 2023 program, participated in the PCA’s 500 Women in Property program, and supports both emerging architects within the practice and broader research initiatives through Parlour.


Sean Wong
Project Lead
Sean is a Project Lead at Wardle with over a decade of experience in architecture, delivering projects ranging from single dwellings to high-rise developments. Beyond practice, he is actively involved in mentoring emerging architects and supporting professional development across the industry. He previously served as Co-Chair of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects Emerging Architects and Graduate Network in NSW and is currently the National President-Elect of the network.


Yashan Chen
Architect
With a wide range of experience on different sectors, including public, education, multi-res, Yashan has a special interest in designing with country and sustainable design. She obtained passive house design certificate in 2024. Yashan finds joy in architecture both during and outside of the working hours. Outside of work, she tutors in UTS and enjoys moments of good architecture in daily life.

Adam Hoh
Design Lead
Adam is a design-focused architect with a keen eye for detail and a passion for enhancing user experience in architectural spaces. His work balances aesthetics and usability, rooted in context, conceptual reasoning, and beauty. Adam enjoys collaborating with others and draws inspiration from art, design, and his diverse experiences.


Christopher Pongrac
Design Lead
Christopher’s work is defined by collaboration, inclusivity, and public value, drawing on experience across civic, cultural, and commercial projects in Australia, New Zealand, and abroad. His design philosophy integrates cultural diversity with sustainability-driven thinking, supported by leadership in national sustainability strategy.
